Shane Wilson

Shane brings extensive commercial and industrial expertise to Coll Electrical, with a career spanning service work, large-scale projects, and overseas experience. He completed his apprenticeship in 2001, worked in electrical servicing roles, and later spent time working in London before returning to New Zealand and joining Coll Electrical in 2007. Shane is also an Electrical Inspector, endorsed in Mains Parallel Generation Systems.

Shane now focuses primarily on industrial projects, managing complex electrical works across high-risk environments. He is highly experienced in coordinating work on industrial sites, where planning, safety, and strict compliance are essential.

Some of Shane’s notable projects include work on Air Liquide tank farms, VISY Glass, SIMS Metals, Plastic Recycling NZ high-voltage works, and hospital facilities. He also continues to bring his expertise to commercial projects, having delivered multiple New World and Pak’n’Save supermarkets, as well as education projects such as The Gardens School and the Otago University Dental Facility in Auckland.
