Ansaar Mohammed

Ansaar is Coll Electrical’s HSQE Manager, with primary responsibility for leading the company’s Health & Safety systems. He joined Coll Electrical in 2016, bringing a strong engineering background after completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and now holds an EWRB Full Practising Licence.

Since joining Coll, Ansaar has been instrumental in strengthening Coll Electrical’s safety, compliance, and risk management frameworks. He led the achievement of AS/NZS 4801 certification in 2018 and the successful upgrade to ISO 45001 certification in 2022, with ongoing compliance and continuous improvement maintained across the business. Under his leadership, Coll Electrical’s Impac Prequal rating was improved from 3 to 5 stars, and the company has maintained a Site Wise Gold certification for five consecutive years. He has also achieved 100% Totika prequalification and helped improve Coll Electrical’s ACC Experience Rating from a +10% loading to a -40% discount.

In his day-to-day role, Ansaar is the go-to person for accident and incident management, safety reporting, and the oversight of plant, equipment, and vehicle compliance. He also provides technical support through CAD work, completing electrical design and as-built documentation across a wide range of projects, spanning infrastructure, commercial, and public space developments.
